The Institute of Hotel Management, Chennai, the nodal body for skill initiatives in the hospitality sector for the Department of Tourism, Government of India, is successfully conducting the Hunar Se Rozgar, Skill testing and Certification Program at several tourist destinations in Tamil Nadu. The programme is intended for young people who work for themselves as waiters, receptionists, bakers, cooks, housekeepers, etc. The required measures are being taken to ensure that the premises, infrastructure, and equipment required for the training programme are available for a smooth conduct of the programme.
